Bravo Pumps: where and how top inflators are created
Pedal, hand or electric inflator - if we talk about a Bravo pump, there will always be an element that links each type of device: quality.
If you are a fan of SUPs, kayaks, dinghies, and water sports in general, you will certainly have used a Bravo pump at least once in your life, because it is synonymous with international excellence.
BRAVO PUMPS: A FORTY-YEAR-OLD STORY
Each Bravo pump bears the signature of an Italian company that since 1979 has been designing, manufacturing and marketing not only inflators, but 360° accessories for the nautical sector all over the world: Scoprega.
This Lombard company was established through the union of three Italian families, from whose initial syllables of their respective surnames the name of the company was created: SCOtti, PREti and GAIardelli.
Scoprega was initially a company focused on plastic moldings, which immediately understood the potential of the nautical sector and its high demand for inflation valves.
From this point on, the company started producing, in chronological order, the following items: oars, paddles, foot and hand pumps, and, from the 90s on, electric pumps. In just a few years, the latter became the core business of the company on a global level. In 2007 came the turning point for the diffusion of the Bravo pump in Asia with the opening of the Chinese branch “Ningbo BRAVO Manufacturing of Inflators and Accessories Co. Ltd.”, which is dedicated exclusively to producing articles and components to supply the Asian market.
SCOPREGA’S PHILOSOPHY ON THE BRAVO PUMP
From Cassano D'Adda, in the province of Milan, to the rest of the world: this is the journey that Scoprega undertook in 1979 following its philosophy "Look beyond", towards the constant improvement of its products and materials - as testified by the Bravo pump.
A continuous evolution which starts from the company production system, one optimized over time and developed with an increasingly stronger focus on issues of eco-sustainability. At the center of this project lies the effort of reducing the use of electricity year after year, and vice -versa increasing the use of low-emission recycled material.
Recycled products, yes, but not qualitatively lower: every Bravo pump, whether pedal, hand or electric, is created exclusively with very high profile materials and with a refined and increasingly functional design aimed at satisfying the needs of every customer, even the most demanding ones.
WHICH TYPE OF BRAVO PUMP SHOULD I CHOOSE?
Regardless of the Bravo pump you end up choosing, rest assured that you will take home an absolutely reliable, long-lasting and guaranteed product over time.
The Bravo foot pump is certainly the most economical and convenient to transport, ideal for those who need to inflate their devices in isolated places that are not easy to reach, or who prefer to travel on foot or by bicycle.
The Bravo manual pump, on the other hand, offers an excellent quality/price ratio and is perfect for inflating and deflating SUP boards and other types of inflatables, both small and medium, in a few minutes and with minimal physical effort.
Finally, the Bravo electric pump is certainly excellent when it comes to electric inflators, and allows you to inflate and deflate any type of inflatable, of all sizes, without the slightest effort, conserving all your energy for your sport or leisure activity.
